Join me in 2027 as I read my way through British history via the wonderful world of historical fiction, from early history to post-war Britain.

The Challenge: Read as many books from that month's era as you can, or just aim for one - it's up to you! The suggested reads include some children's books, so if you know a younger reader who would like to join in, they should have plenty of choice.

Keep a note of anything interesting you learn, and share it in the Facebook group or on the Instagram page- let's build a community of history-loving readers, one tale at a time.
